There are three things you can do with the Registry Doctor application for Windows-powered machines: you can clean the Windows Registry, you can defragment the aforementioned Windows Registry, and you can back up and restore the Windows Registry, something that comes in handy should something go wrong.

The Registry Doctor installation file is only 1.7Mb in size, so it will take but a moment to download it. You can install the application on a PC powered by any Windows edition from Windows 98 onward. Installing Registry Doctor is a simple process through which you are guided by a straightforward setup wizard.

Registry Doctor’s main functions are displayed as links in the main pane on its interface. Under each function there’s a brief explanation of what that function does. In the pane to the left there are buttons for Registry Tools, Help and Support, Purchase, and About.

As mentioned above, you can do three things with the Registry Doctor application: scan for and remove invalid Registry entries, defragment the Registry, and back up/restore the Registry. The first two functions are meant to give your PC a speed boost – to optimize it so it runs better. The last function is meant to safeguard should anything go wrong. Back up the Registry, and if something goes wrong, you can restore it to an earlier time.

The Registry Doctor trial can be used free of charge for 30 days. It should be noted here that the trial is fully functional.

Problems with the Windows Registry are the main cause of performance loss. With a tool such as Registry Doctor you can address such problems, optimize your PC, and ensure it runs smoothly.

Pros

It will take but a moment to download the Registry Doctor installation file; it will also take little time to install the application. Registry Doctor’s interface is nicely sorted and easy to use. Use Registry Doctor to back up/restore the Registry, remove invalid entries from the Registry, and defragment the Registry. The trial is fully functional.

Cons

Free to use for 30 days.
